AkStackPro – Magento 2 Place Test Orders Extension
Project Overview
AkStackPro Place Test Orders is an open-source Magento 2 developer tool built to simplify one of the most repetitive tasks during Magento development—creating test orders.
Instead of manually completing the checkout process for every test, the extension allows administrators and developers to generate real Magento sales orders directly from the Admin Panel or Command Line Interface (CLI) using configurable customer, product, shipping, payment, and address settings.
The module creates genuine Magento orders through the platform's native Quote and Order APIs, making them fully compatible with invoices, shipments, ERP integrations, inventory management, email workflows, payment gateways, and third-party extensions.
To improve the testing experience, the extension includes an interactive Admin Run Script with live progress tracking, execution logs, graceful process stopping, downloadable CSV reports, and inventory pre-validation to prevent failed bulk order generation due to insufficient stock.
The extension also integrates with the AkStackPro Core module, providing a unified administration experience while following Magento 2 best practices, including Dependency Injection, Service Contracts, ACL, multi-store configuration scopes, and modular architecture.
